Jeremy Corbyn and elements of his party might be horrible antisemites, but they love to give other people’s money away.
In an attempt to stop people talking about the systemic racism that festers in Corbyn’s inner circle, the Labour leader has announced that all under-25s will be able to travel on buses as often as they like for free.
A Labour government will create a wonderful, fairytale world of free stuff. They’ll promise young voters everything from free travel to free education, and they’ll make hardworking people (many of whom don’t go to university of travel on buses) pay the bill.
And when the Labour government runs out of other people’s money, they’ll borrow.
And when they borrow too much, our interest rates will soar.
Businesses will leave, due to high taxes, hyper inflation, nationalisation programmes and sky high interest rates.
Bins will lie uncollected for months, and we won’t have enough energy to fuel the nation.
Eventually, there won’t even be enough money for free stuff.
How do we know? Because it’s happened before. Unfortunately, it was before many voters were born.
“Young people deserve a break. Nearly eight years of Tory austerity have hit their incomes, their chance to buy a house and their career opportunities.
“Labour wants to help young people make the most out of life by investing in them, which is why today we are pledging the next Labour government will provide the funds to cover free bus travel for under 25s, to support them to travel to work, to study and to visit friends.
Young people also tend to be in lower paid, more insecure work, and they spend a higher proportion of their income on travel. Giving them free bus travel will make a huge difference to their lives”.
The money would be given to local councils by central government, and would save 13 million young people £1,000 a year. But it will cost 13 million old people… you guessed it… £1,000 a year.
This shameful vote buying should be illegal, as should the principle of socialism. Let’s just hope and pray that this latest cash giveaway proves moot. However, as unskilled immigration and indoctrination in the education system continue, it might not be too long before socialism finally destroys the world’s fifth largest economy.
